I had a wonderful time in the mountains. It was just so peaceful. There was no cell phone service or TV so it really was remote. I think I could have sat by the water forever. It was beautiful. Here's a pic of where I spent my weekend.
Once home, I got a call that my son wrecked on his bike. Broke his ankle and arm and it will take a few months before he'll even be able to walk again. I think I'm ready to pack my bags and move to the top of that mountain forever!

Southside Items
I finally finished the afghans and 2 sweaters for Southside. I Love This Yarn finally brought back the pink yarn. They improved the color a lot. I am quite happy with the new pink.
Here's a pic of that one. The pics for the others are on flickr.
The sweaters I made are from BellaBambina... Kelly's overlap sweater, and the knit one is from knittingonthenet.com. It's the top down raglan baby sweater. I changed it a tad by eliminating the seam stitches.
Well, off to get working on more baby items.

Wow! It's May already
I've been playing with the different things I can add to my blog. Did figure out how to add pics from flickr and 2 links to blogs I like!
Still crocheting and knitting away. Kelly will be doing a donation to Southside for Hugs4Hope, and we're hoping to have a good amount to keep them going through the summer. Once I get more blankets done, I'll switch to knitting some sweaters. That's one of my favorite summer time projects. That and knitting socks. There small enough, so it's easier for me in the summer.
